Yesterday provided a chance to play in the same group as David Merriman in the Legends Tour event. David is a very experienced European Seniors Tour player and plays some of the events here and in Australia. He is a very fine player who has a great temperment and is very focused especially around the greens and when putting. Like all good and great players he has a belief in what he can do and goes about delivering on that. Rarely making any mistakes he went about the task of getting around a fairly difficult layout with some speedy greens. David went on to score a win in the event albeit a tie with Roger Davis. Anyone would do well to watch and learn from such a proficient practitioner.
