How would you like to be Fred Couples…Actually I would love to be Fred Couples… Let me put that another way - How would you like to be the Captain of the US Presidents Cup side when its finally time to choose the two Captains picks?  

The vice Captain is one of the all time nice guys of American Golf, Jay Haas and Fred will obviously be looking to Jay for help with his decision. This would normally not be too much of an issue except for the fact that Jays son Bill is right on the bubble of making the team. I've been keeping an eye on Bills progress and ranking and as we speak he has slipped outside the safe top 10 into 12th. You can imagine the conversation between Cap and Vice-Cap, cant you? “Well Jay what do you think?.”

“I would love to see Ricky Fowler in the side and Zach Johnson is a former Masters winner and grittier than sand paper but Bills Mum will really have the $#@%$ with me if he doesn't get a start.”
